A ZIMBABWEAN woman has been found murdered at the home of Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s daughter, Mpho, in Cape Town.

Murder investigation … Mpho Tutu

Angila Machinga, 40, was found on the floor of the Milnerton Central house on Thursday with her feet and hands bound with clothing.
The domestic worker had stab wounds, said Warrant Officer November Filander of Cape Town police.
Filander told the South African Press Association: “It is suspected that the incident occurred between 1PM and 4PM. It is also unclear at this stage if anything was taken from the house.
“A murder docket was opened for investigation purposes. No-one has been arrested as yet.”

Police said Tutu’s daughter, Mpho, left the house at 7AM on the day of the murder.
She returned home at about 4.30PM and discovered the front door was wide open. She called a local security company who entered the property and found Machinga’s body.
